COMMUNITY SHABBAT DINNER AND Friday, November 6th – 6:00 pm for dinner; 7:45 pm for services – 5619 Lindley Ave., Tarzana All our welcome to join us for Shabbat dinner and the ritual around the table. Over dessert, we will conduct a “live Jewish book of why,” with Rabbi Debra Orenstein fielding your questions on all things Jewish. We will have special activities (including a Jewish treasure hunt) for young children. That same evening, bring books you no longer need and browse through the books others will bring, for the third annual “Great Makom Book Exchange.” Dinner is $12 per adult.
