COMMUNITY SHABBAT DINNER AND
“THE GREAT MAKOM BOOK EXCHANGE”
Friday, November 6th – 6:00 pm for dinner; 7:45 pm for services – 5619 Lindley Ave., Tarzana
All our welcome to join us for Shabbat dinner and the ritual around the table. Over dessert, we will conduct a “live Jewish book of why,” with Rabbi Debra Orenstein fielding your questions on all things Jewish. We will have special activities (including a Jewish treasure hunt) for young children. That same evening, bring books you no longer need and browse through the books others will bring, for the third annual “Great Makom Book Exchange.”
Dinner is $12 per adult. No charge for children 12 and under.

Sunday, NOVEMBER 15 - MEDITATION AND HEALING. All are welcome to participate in silent meditation, walking meditation, and prayers and chants for healing at the home of Eve Axelrad in Mandeville Canyon, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
