ATZILUT (the world of Being): MAKOM OHR SHALOM is a synagogue dedicated to the development of spiritual consciousness through Jewish meditation, mysticism, music, chanting and prayer.  Through our celebrations of Shabbat and festivals, we open to the Divine Presence, cultivate inner peace, and honor our connection with generations past and future. 

BERIAH (the world of Knowing): MAKOM OHR SHALOM is dedicated to personal growth leading to wisdom and understanding through the study of Torah, Kabbalah, Jewish history, traditions and culture. 

YITZIRAH (the world of Feeling): MAKOM OHR SHALOM is a spiritual egalitarian community, where each person’s uniqueness is recognized and embraced.  We are a chosen extended family of friends whose individual participation and shared responsibility are honored and encouraged. 

ASSIYAH (the world of Doing): MAKOM OHR SHALOM is committed to Tikkun Olam, the healing of the world, through tzedakah, social action, and respect for other spiritual paths.
