About Our Shabbat Services Our Shabbat services are unique, incorporating meditation, chanting, original and traditional melodies, even joyous dancing in the aisles. We take time to let go of the stressors of our lives, come into the moment, and welcome Shabbat through prayer, chanting, meditation and gratitude. We delve into the lessons of Torah and our ancient Jewish tradition to help us better navigate the challenges of life today. We take time to focus on healing: for ourselves, our loved ones and the world; we embrace tikkun olam. We also say Kaddish to remember those who have come before us. If you are in need of a place to say Kaddish for your loved one, you are welcome do so with us. Our Shabbat Prayer Book Our prayer book includes English translations and transliterations for all Hebrew prayers. Most prayers and songs are introduced with a teaching or guidance so that beginners can follow along, and the more experienced can deepen their practice. We strive to create accessible, meaningful prayer services. Hebrew knowledge is not necessary to enjoy and participate in our services. Our Shabbat Music Our singers and musicians enhance the service with traditional and contemporary Jewish songs and prayers aimed at moving the heart and soul. Congregants are encouraged to sing or hum along. We invite your membership! No one is turned away due to finances.
