Rabbi Ted Falcon founded Makom Ohr Shalom over 40 years ago, exploring the frontiers of Jewish spirituality and meditation. Makom Ohr Shalom was born because of his vision and leadership. With Rabbi Monty Turner, he created a unique community that prayed, meditated, and sang together, exploring spirituality and Judaism.

He was ordained a Reform rabbi in 1968 and received a doctorate in psychology in 1975. He is a Rabbi, writer, and spiritual therapist. He is a prolific author of such books including “Judaism for Dummies” and “Finding Peace through Spiritual Practice: The Interfaith Amigos’ Guide to Personal, Social and Environmental Healing”.
